Crazy or Lazy, your choice today

Today is Election Day.

Highly consequential election. We have two choices: A crazy Democrat Party intent on destroying America as founded, or a lazy Republican Party which operates as a social club and is a far far cry from the political party of Abolition it was founded to be (in opposition to the slave owning Democrat Party).

Because post-Civil War Reconstruction was not fully implemented, the Democrat Party of insurrection, racism, slavery, and civil war was not banned. Rather, it was allowed to continue re-growing itself. But it never really changed. It went from enslaving just the African slaves to trying to enslave the entire America under the boot of Big Government totalitarianism. Today the Democrat Party openly talks about amassing an unassailable amount of political power, so it can force its unpopular agenda on everyone.

When I was an active Democrat in the 1980s, the Democrat Party was a pretty moderate movement. That patina is gone. My positions never changed, but the Democrat Party swerved hard and far to the far Left. It now stands for eliminating our Second Amendment rights, First Amendment free speech rights, greatly narrowing our economic choices, putting government in charge of our children, unsustainable government spending, etc. I cannot recognize this as an organization I once worked hard to advance.

Against this steamroller jihad against freedom stands the lazy, spineless, uncaring modern Republican Party, which at best stands for just not doing the worst excesses of the Democrat Party. And doing nothing else of consequence.

Today I choose the do-no-harm Lazy over the catastrophically damaging Crazy. This is the best choice for an America that is not too big to fail. I hope you join me and vote accordingly.
