How do we handle daily revolution and destruction?
If you are wondering what on earth is happening in America and around the free world, you are in good company. It seems that a violent insurrection against Western Civilization is under way. We went from having the best economy in decades to sudden Wuhan Flu authoritarian lockdowns, shutdowns, and police showdowns with Mom and her children playing in a park, all clearly designed to flatten Donald Trump and nothing else.
When the politically partisan Wuhan Flu thingy lost steam because Americans could see for themselves that the dire predictions meant nothing for people living outside of New York, New Jersey, and nursing homes nationwide, a new social rally was created: George Floyd.
George Floyd was murdered. Yes, he was high on dangerous drugs at the time of his death, and yes he had a long list of legal offenses. But…like Ahmaud Arbery earlier this year, Floyd did not deserve to die just because someone thought his life was worth less. Definitely worth protesting their deaths and the bad policing that gave carte blanc to their murderers (years ago I wrote on this blog about the bad policing culture that was developing then and which, years later, is definitely front and center now; blacks, whites, Asians, all skin colors suffer from this bad policing culture).
But how do we logically go from protesting a few bad police officers and the Fallujah mentality that is creating them, to now eliminating the police? To destroying statues that are important representations of our civilization’s historic struggles and achievements? To racist lectures on Fakebook about how all “white” people are by definition racist and privileged and other insane BS?
No the world has not gone mad, although all of these things are certainly crazy. What happened is that the Left has been at war with YOU, and me, and all other normal job-holding, tax-paying, law-abiding citizens who make up our neighbors, and we either didn’t know it, didn’t care about it, or decided to plain ignore it. The people who confuse me the most are the registered Democrats I know and socialize with. Is this violent sedition what they are really about? Like, when they come home from church on Sunday, do they sit down and plan out the coming week’s riots and looting with their kids? I don’t think so, but they mysteriously remain loyal to the Democrat Party brand.
Whether you like it or not, you are now living in an actual war zone. It covers most of America. And it isn’t just in the down towns; it can extend to your job, to your home, to your children. Nobody is spared any space to just live in peace. The war is coming right to you not just in looting and arson, but in demands that you literally kowtow to the Left, show your obeisance. Even impoverished rural whites who haven’t seen a day of “privilege” since their ancestors fled religious prosecution and famine in Europe 300 years ago are now said to be evil and racist and privileged, simply because of their skin color.
Talk about racist! That “white privilege” phrase is probably the most racist and politically privileged thing I have ever heard in my life.
So how do you and I live in this new state of constant warfare, this so-called cultural revolution?
Simple answer: Buy guns and enough ammunition for them to be able to defend yourself, your home, and to band together with your neighbors to offer a combined defense. Do not allow yourself to be picked off singly and individually. Prepare to defend yourself, your home, your neighborhood, your nation. Have a plan, be prepared to implement it. And vote, donate money, and volunteer for good political candidates, so that hopefully the revolution being forced upon us doesn’t become an all-out shooting war.
You are under attack and you had better get ready to repel it, or you will lose everything you have, including your freedom. Most especially your freedom. One word, one thought, one day in church at a time.
All lives matter, the law matters, civilization matters, running water matters
Watching so-called “peaceful protesters” burn down a bunch of American cities and demand to eliminate city police departments, in the name of God-knows-what anarchy, is no laughing matter. Because all lives matter, regardless of skin color, religion, political views, sex, etc. Everyone is created in the image of God and each American has the same rights as anyone else.
The scenes of anarchy and assaults on every aspect of American civilization are pretty confounding. After all, we Americans have the best quality of life in the world (Starbucks on every corner, a smart phone in every hand etc.). One of the cornerstones of our amazing quality of life is the law, the idea that there are parameters on personal behavior. Destruction, looting, thievery, violence, are all no-nos in every civilization; it is just that in America we have refined the art of enforcing the law down to a very fine science. Having that ability to solve most crimes really creates a high quality society.
That refinement is what American civilization runs on. That attention to detail is what gives our civilization such unfailing public services as clean running public water.
Now all of this approach to life, every bit of it and so much more, is up for grabs, as the Democrat Party seeks to create as much chaos, destruction, and unhappiness as they possibly can before the November election. What happens if the big cities do, in fact, disband their police forces? What if Joe Biden becomes president and says “You are right, no more applying the law, no more criminal prosecutions. Go ahead and do whatever you want to whomever you want, and there will be no consequences.”
We know what will happen, because we are already seeing it happen in places like Detroit and New York City – where the public drinking water supplies are polluted by a lack of government diligence in Detroit, and the wanton destruction of the world’s greatest city economy through simple public fear of being attacked and robbed in public in NYC. People can’t work, can’t live. So there are consequences for failure, it is just that failure is not a problem for liberals, because they keep re-electing the same failed liberal politicians. That is because liberals are now getting what they have been after, what they have said they were after, for fifty years: Revolution, and all of the destruction that comes with it. It really does not bother them.
Last week I communicated with a dear friend living in New York City. We have cared for one another as close friends for 30-some years. She owns restaurants; her husband is a successful architect. They have made good money from the American entrepreneurial system, and enjoyed all of the culture and opportunity NYC can offer. After expressing to me her shock and horror at how her neighborhood had been destroyed by wanton looting, she then said she would continue to support the politicians who allow this to happen, so long as it means opposing Donald Trump.
So there you have it, the befuddled mindset of a highly educated, highly successful business person on the Left: Winning at any cost, even if it means literally burning down America, including their own neighborhood. Including drinking polluted water. Heck, the cities with the biggest police problems are all liberal – ultra-liberal Minneapolis is where George Floyd died, at the hands of a liberal police officer. There was nothing new there. Liberals keep voting for failure; even when liberalism destroys everything they care about, liberals still keep voting for it.
It takes an all-America person to say All Lives Matter in this situation, because it is such an obviously needed reminder of how our American civilization really works, and what is needed to run it successfully at all levels. America is always all-hands-on-deck. It always has been a community-based nation. Everyone has to participate, at every level, for America to run right. We have to get personally involved, and we can’t let someone else vote for us, or make decisions for us. It is the little things that have always made America run well. Like the way in which a local school has classes that monitor public water quality, or how some segments of American society are having such difficulty succeeding that local clothing and food banks are set up to help them.
All of that is being tossed out right now, in favor of God knows what. When we see that God-knows-what destructive insanity, we have to remind ourselves that All Lives Matter. We have to take care of each other. Every one of us is important.
So toss out the anarchy and destruction, the artificial divisiveness. Embrace your community, and the law, and your neighbors. You will, we all will, be happier for it. America will be better for it.
p.s. originally I was inclined to write an essay entitled “Democrat Party: Make America into Mogadishu,” and I still might. But the crazy un-American violence happening around our great nation made me feel sad, and I wanted to say something that might remind someone, somewhere, of all the good this nation has achieved, so that they might aim for that, instead of supporting the violence that separates us from one another.
Lawless, violent insurrection. Is it time to outlaw the seditious Democrat Party?
Just like most of the state responses to the Wuhan Flu have had zero to do with public health, the lawless violence and wanton destruction happening across America have zero to do with the murder of George Floyd, and everything to do with people still upset with the results of the 2016 election.
Since November 2016, America’s Democrat Party apparatus – the national media, academia, the entertainment industry, Wall Street, public school educators and administrators, social media, a huge portion of taxpayer-paid professional government workers, and a great deal of corporate leaders – have maintained a hostile, angry, attack mode drum beat against President Donald Trump and everyone who supports him. They want that power that Donald Trump has.
No introspection about why or how Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election. No curiosity about how so many people who only a few years before had voted for leftist Barack Hussein Soetoro Obama, suddenly felt compelled to vote for the one person who promised to un-do all of what Obama had done. Nope, no wondering. Instead, America has been daily fed a constant barrage of lies, hate, racism against “white people,” and fascist censorship of people, ideas, and speech that do not comply with the leftist narrative being pushed by Big Media, the Democrat Party, et al.
One hoax after another has been attempted, each designed to fatally damage President Trump, and each failing. Rusty Nails, Russia collusion, Ukraine, totally fake ‘impeachment’, etc. Now it seems that when the latest hoax failed, and yes, the liberals’ phony and out-sized politicized responses to Wuhan Flu have amounted to yet another gigantic and destructive hoax, something else needed to be tried. And next up has been the violent riots, like all prior events aimed at hurting President Trump, no matter what the cost is to the nation.
Let’s face it, folks. This is the same Democrat Party that seceded from the Union in 1860. The same Democrat Party that founded the Confederate States of America, that created sanctuary states for slavery, that founded the Jim Crow Laws and the Ku Klux Klan. The same Democrat Party that blocked civil rights legislation and voting rights laws in the 1950s and 1960s. It is the same Democrat Party that has still literally enslaved most American blacks today, and that is attempting to enslave the rest of America through Big Government. Democrat states and municipalities that implemented illegal “sanctuary” cities and states were really declaring another secession from the rest of America, just like the Democrat Party of the 1860s.
You doubt this?
Just look at how the liberal governors around America have been ruling over the citizens over the past few months. Every constitutional freedom and protection of individual rights has been thrown out the window by liberal governors and mayors in their quest for absolute power. You want to go swimming? Jail for you! Oh, you want to go rioting, well, then have fun. That is how they approach America; pure and absolute lawless enslavement.
The Democrat Party is in full-out open war against America.
The Democrat Party has declared open war against America, against normal Americans, against the US Constitution, against religion, against individual freedoms, against individual choice, against everything that has defined America since our founding. It is painful and scary to write these words, but we are truly in a civil war right now. It is clear that the Democrat Party is playing for keeps, for complete and absolute control of our nation. We citizens are not helped by the weak and worthless GOP, a party whose culture of decadent opportunism means they automatically roll over and play dead at the sound of a firecracker. The GOP has no allegiance to the American people, nor any interest in helping us. Because there is no money to be made from that.
So it is up to We, The People, to say what must be said: The Democrat Party is a seditious organization seeking the overthrow of the American government from within, and we want the Democrat Party to be declared illegal. They have used illegal means, and so let them enjoy being officially illegal in every jurisdiction where The People have the desire to remain free.
Say it, do it. Declare your legal jurisdiction to no longer recognize the outlaw Democrat Party as a legitimate political party, but that it is an illegal seditious enemy. Nothing else will stop them, and save us. Even if it is just a statement, it carries some weight. Doing this lets our mortal enemies know that we will not be their next crop of slaves.
The real masks come off
Over the past month or so, a national debate about whether or not to wear face masks, and under what conditions, has dominated the media headlines. Masks are said to be needed in order to prevent or reduce the transmission of Wuhan Flu. A lot of that mask debate was shaped by the ongoing public argument about whether to go back to work or to stay at home; again, allegedly to stop or slow the spread of the Wuhan Flu; or at least to spare the hospitals from being overrun.
States run by liberals, like Washington, Oregon, Michigan, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey, are still largely shut down, regardless of their low Wuhan Flu deaths or hospitalization rates. Their economies are in shambles, probably by design. Their leaders emphasize even the smallest of risks, and the wearing of masks is symbolic of concurring with their grotesque risk assessment and their not-American approach to dealing with a disproven public threat. Liberals promote staying at home and wearing a mask in public as a symbol of deference to government fiat; really, a sort of face-worn sieg-heil salute to whoever the Dear Leader is in that state. Actual risks may vary by locale, but according to liberals every place is ground zero New York City.
Suddenly in a time of heavily engineered “social distancing” and compulsory mask wearing, with food shoppers everywhere carefully mincing about one another like planets on wobbly orbits, a very controlled American society indeed, an eruption of long engineered social chaos arrives. Fires, violence, looting, vandalism, insane barbaric destructive behavior, from coast to coast. Kaboom.
Flu masks off, vandal masks on. The real mask has just come off, because this is political theater to one political party. It is how they advance their political agenda. Their thinking is Trump could not be dislodged through a bunch of hoaxes, so now let’s try some serious street violence. Overwhelmingly, the graffiti, signs, and riotous behavior are anything but peaceful, with messages like “F–k Trump” etc leaving no doubt what this is really about.
If I were black, I would be upset about the murders of Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd. Heck, I am “white” and I am very upset about their murders. I don’t know any “white” people who are not upset about them. These men were murdered in cold blood, and we need to make America so that it doesn’t happen again.
Like any normal American who watches the snuff video of ironically named and now former police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling heavily on Floyd’s neck until he dies, I am also concerned about the so very obviously widespread problematic culture of policing that has evolved out of hiring young combat-hardened military veterans to Protect and to Serve. If you watch enough online videos, it seems that even normal encounters with police provide an abnormal result. Law-abiding people conducting themselves lawfully are videotaped being officially manhandled, or even shot to death in their own home as they confront non-uniformed, unannounced intruders in the dead of night. So many police encounters result in an innocent civilian being unlawfully detained, unlawfully restrained, unlawfully injured, and then unlawfully charged, that if these videos are any indication of a wider theme, a police culture problem really is heavily upon all of us. And apparently it is because ‘contempt of cop’ is such an affront to the folks in blue that some of them act like they are fighting against everyone else. Us vs. Them, red vs. blue, crips vs. bloods, cops n’ robbers, Officer Chauvin vs. George Floyd… and so on.
But if I were black, I would especially be most upset about the dozens of shootings and killings that occur hourly, daily, weekly in Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles, month in and month out, year after year. Cities run by white liberals for decades have the worst black poverty and violent crime. Young black men are killing each other by droves all the time, and yet…no rage. Not even upset. Not even headlines. No protests, no nothing. Silence.
So when the lid now comes off in these communities, allegedly because of George Floyd’s murder, and stores and churches are looted and destroyed, a normal person asks Why?
Why are law-abiding citizens told to stay inside, stay home, wear a mask, and God forbid if they go surfing or sun bathing or swimming or cutting hair, then they are arrested and shuffled straight off to jail, while truly masked vandals are ransacking American cities at will, with little police response?
The answer is uncomfortable. For decades, liberals have encouraged people, maybe even trained them, to act out their anger in violent ways. In many places violent vandals have been bused in, like St. Louis , Missouri, a few years ago. It is political theater to liberals. It is how their political goals that cannot be met through legitimate political channels are advanced. Nancy Pelosi used the Wuhan Flu to achieve political outcomes the American people would not otherwise grant her, except under extortion and coercion. Now how will these violent street mobs be used?
“No justice, no peace,” “By any means necessary,” “Question authority” are just a few of the confrontational battle cries that liberals have said through megaphones and loudspeakers over my lifetime. Whenever something happens that liberals don’t like or that they can exploit, out come the arsonist marchers and the destructive mobs. It is easier than working through the plodding checks-and-balances political process established in 1787.
A lawless political culture has resulted, and it is to this lawlessness that the police culture has responded in like kind. Like two planets orbiting in each other, locked in an unstable embrace.
It is said that liberalism is a mental disease, and while it is tough to argue with that, given the evidence of it right in front of us right now, it is also easy to point out that liberalism is a well considered political movement. It has lots of shaming and false outrage, as well as effective tactics and strategies, lots of lying, hypocrisy, official violence, and street mobs. Social distancing applies to law abiding middle income families, and not to the people who are destroying their businesses. Presently it seems that America’s youth have been indoctrinated to act like the young Chinese fifty years ago under Mao’s guidance, in the Cultural Revolution.
Out in America’s streets right now, the liberal mob is turning our nation upside down. The White House is literally under siege. Though obviously defective, lawless Liberalism has come to dominate almost all of America’s institutions and organizations – the media, academia, the schools, government bureaucracies, the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, the Pennsylvania Federation of Sportsmen and Conservationists, etc. Liberalism is ascendant, while republican constitutionalism is in retreat.
The mask is off right now for all to see what liberalism is actually about. And despite its known problems, despite its ugly, scary face staring us normal people in the face, it is doing really, really well.
Liberalism is doing not too bad for a mental disease.
Today my head was designated a “Sanctuary Head” and I got a haircut as a form of civil disobedience
Today I got my hair cut in an establishment here in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Our county opened today by a patriotic act of the county commissioners, Jeff Haste and Mike Pries, who are looking out for their citizens (see Jeff Haste’s letter to the citizens of Pennsylvania here).
My haircut stands as a symbol of #resistance to petty tyrant Governor Tom Wolf’s power-mad attempt to control free Pennsylvanians.
I also did this act of defiance under the totally illegal but patriotic self-designation of my head as a “Barbershop Sanctuary Head.”
While this act of civil disobedience happened in an actual barbershop and salon, the hair cutter informed me that she has been doing hair coloring and haircuts at private homes over the past month, wearing PPE and a mask as the client requires. I was her first “in-patient” at the establishment. Yes, like the free adults they are, people have been deciding for themselves what level of risk they are willing to engage in order to look presentable in public. Without Governor Wolf and his creature doctor telling us what to think, what to do.
Recall that Pennsylvania is under a draconian “lockdown order” issued by the governor. Basically you can’t go pee without the government telling you to go.
In response to Dauphin County opening up, petty tyrant Governor Tom Wolf went on a tantrum tirade of threats: Businesses that open without his OK will have their state licenses pulled, and insurance companies will be notified or damaged, and federal aid will be withheld, and so on.
If you don’t listen to Tyrant Wolf, he will do everything he can to harm you, much more than the virus ever could. Governor Wolf demands that you listen to him and obey him! His threats over compliance are arguably worse than the risks he says we incur by not following his dictates. Wolf has gone overboard after already going overboard. The guy is drunk on power.
Governor Wolf is like all of the other liberal governors in America right now: Might makes right, the full coercive force of government will be brought down on the now-shorn head of anyone who dares to challenge him, you will be punished for daring to act like a free person. None of this covid19 policy stuff is about public health any longer. It is purely about power, and a rather unconstitutional, un-American power at that.
Petty tyrants like Tom Wolf just don’t realize what stuff Americans are made of. He doesn’t realize he inspired me to do this. I pulled a liberal trick out of my hat, and by unilaterally declaring my head to be a Barbershop Sanctuary Head, I have automatically blocked government from doing anything to my head. Because, you know, for years sanctuary cities and states have been releasing from jail all violent illegal alien felons, but recently locking up law-abiding citizens out for a walk while again releasing yet more violent felons from prison, because of covid19. It all made so much sense…
So now my own sanctuary head is off-limits to Governor Tom Wolf. I am sure he will understand.
Two months of hair growth on my head resulted in a pile of wool-like sheep-shearings. Sad that this pile of hair is now an act of defiance, resistance, and civil disobedience in America.
Democrat Party: Burn Down America and See if Donald Trump is Still Standing
Pennsylvania governor Tom Wolf just issued another edict: Nothing really opens in Pennsylvania until June 4th. Because he says so.
No science supports his action. All the Wuhan covid19 data now pouring in from around the country, and Pennsylvania, demonstrates the virus is an urban problem, a nursing home problem, an old age and bad existing health problem, an I-95 corridor problem that stretches from Richmond, Virginia, to Boston, Massachusetts.
Covid19 is most especially a New York and New Jersey problem, where the overwhelming proportion of deaths and hospitalizations have occurred. Thanks in great part to the decisions of Governor Cuomo and NYC Mayor de Blasio, both of whom encouraged sick people to move about freely, to ride the NYC subway, and for nursing homes to take in sick people known to be infected with covid19.
While Wuhan Flu is here because China wanted it to be here, if any one or two people in America are responsible for its spread and damage it is Cuomo and de Blasio.
Across America Democrat governors like Tom Wolf are throwing down the gauntlet, issuing fatwas, edicts, executive orders all extending the stay-the-f*k-at-home demand that has shut down businesses and bankrupted tens of millions of Americans. Putting people in jail merely for opening their barber shops and hair salons. None of these edicts are constitutional. None of these decisions emanate from the powers granted to elected officials. None of these are about health, they are about power. These are simply power grabs by elected officials looking to give themselves more power and to damage America.
This is economic warfare against the citizens of America. You and me.
Why would anyone want to damage America’s economy, you ask?
Because it is the only thing the Democrat Party has left to try to damage President Trump. They have tried everything else: False accusations, the Russia collusion hoax, the Ukraine hoax, fake impeachment hoax, hookergate, etc and at every turn, Trump has beaten them. Now all the Democrat Party has left is a scorched earth policy, burning down and blowing up America, and the Chinese covid19 virus is the last card in their hand for doing it.
Covid19 has given the Democrat Party their ability to try to blow up America and everything around President Trump, and then see if he is still standing. Never mind the collateral damage, like you, your job, your family, your business, your children. You and I are simply cannon fodder in the Democrat Party’s attempt to wrest control away from the one person who has the strength to stand up against them, against their media arm, and the GOPe (Republican establishment, AKA spineless jellyfish).
“But Josh, the Risks!”

The epidemiological data shows us now exactly what the covid19 risks are and are not. Generally speaking, the risk from this virus is extremely low. America can function just fine going forward, and at-risk people will need to change their habits a bit, and there is no justification for this stay-the-f*k-at-home crap any longer.
But since November 10, 2016, the goal has been to get Donald Trump, no matter what.
And so now we are watching one aggressive political party blow up America in their pursuit of getting Donald Trump, while the opposing party is full of milquetoast, soft spoken, reasonable sounding, carefully coiffed, preened, gentlemen who would like nothing more than to have an early round of golf before going out to dinner and then to cocktail parties, where they can get their next insider information for their next big investment. That is why they got into politics in the first place.
Welcome to America 2020, where most of the politicians are utterly worthless. People, we ourselves are going to have to solve this ourselves, without the politicians. We cannot let them bankrupt us and destroy our families.
Stand up, stand tall, and tell Governor Tom Wolf to Stay The F*k At Home if he has a problem with you leading your life as you choose. Go get your hair cut.
UPDATE: After this was written, Dauphin and Lebanon counties joined Beaver and Greene counties in defying Governor Wolf. Thank God we have strong leaders here like commissioners Jeff Haste and Mike Pries.
Czechoslovakia, USA
Is the USA becoming Czechoslovakia?
Everything political happening right now in America is following the path of the 1948 Communist takeover of Czechoslovakia. Literally every mis-use of government power here, from the smallest and most obscure political subdivisions to the highest offices in the federal government, either exactly or almost exactly mirrors actions the Czech Communists did to forcefully take over what had been one of Europe’s leading democracies.
So much information has spilled out in the past week, about the corruption, abuse of power, and pure evil anti-democratic behavior of so many senior Obama Administration officials. The warrantless domestic spying, the lying to get warrants, the lying to frame people and get false convictions by withholding exculpatory information from them. The use of massive coercive government force to achieve political goals….Things you cannot believe just happened in America.
And the other big story is about just how freakin’ long it has taken to wrest this information from the hands of government employees who are using their taxpayer-funded public offices for political purposes. Political activists have been quietly burrowing deeply into government roles for decades, and basically have formed sleeper cells throughout government. Now they turn American government against Americans.
The core of the problem comes down to this: One political party, its members and its followers have the mindset that they are going to get control of America “by any means necessary.” They intend to control all of us with an iron fist, just as their governors have tried to tyrannically rule their states over the past two months. They want mail-in voting so they can literally stuff the ballot boxes and cheat everyone out of a fair election. They are enabled by the feeblest of reasons, like the “stay at home” movement. (Hey, if you want to stay at home, then go ahead, but I am moving forward with my life, and what I do with my life is my business, not yours. And no, this virus isn’t going to kill a whole bunch more people, and if you oppose risk, then yes, just stay at home and suck your thumb.)
The other political party has only a few members who actually fight back against this anti-democracy movement. Yes, there is a slowly growing group of American citizens who are anticipating some sort of violent show down, for which they are preparing, but they have very little political voice. Only a few elected officials are strong enough to actually stand up and promote good government. I am fortunate to have Congressman Scott Perry represent me in the US House, where he is distinguishing himself as an ardent defender of the Constitution and individual rights triumphing over anti-democracy government. But I am not in good company, as Scott is one of a handful of strong willed elected officials. We are fortunate to have President Trump championing the America of freedom and equal opportunity…because no other Republican candidate for president had the guts to do what Trump has done.
And thus we have Czechoslovakia, 1948, happening all over again right here in America. Just as then and there, the literal communists (yes, Comey and Brennan are avowed communists by their own admission) here and now are determined to steal power through all illegal means, a swarm of attacks on American democracy from top to bottom, and then under color of law demand that everyone else obey them once they are in.
Yes, the Democrat Party will break every law to gain control of the law.
The Democrat Party will use the democratic process to achieve non-democratic results.
In 1950 one of Czechoslovakia’s great show trials was held, where political opponents were treated as criminals by the communists who controlled the courts and secret police. Almost exactly seventy years ago, totally innocent feminist democracy advocate and lawyer Milada Horakova was garroted as Communist officials gleefully looked on, her own prosecutor encouraging the hangman to slowly suffocate Horakova, instead of breaking her neck.
The day of her hanging, Horakova wrote to her two girls: “The reason was not that I loved you little; I love you just as purely and fervently as other mothers love their children. But I understood that my task here in the world was to do you good … by seeing to it that life becomes better, and that all children can live well. … Don’t be frightened and sad because I am not coming back any more. Learn, my child, to look at life early as a serious matter. Life is hard, it does not pamper anybody, and for every time it strokes you it gives you ten blows. Become accustomed to that soon, but don’t let it defeat you. Decide to fight.”
My dear fellow Americans who are registered Democrats, this is not the political party of your youth. It has become an evil corruption, and you honor yourself by leaving it now.
My dear fellow Americans who love freedom, the moment is upon us to fight the communist Democrat Party’s attempt to take control of America, to turn us into the Czechoslovakia of 1948, to steal our freedoms and set government above the people it is supposed to serve. Do not allow our free nation to succumb to tyranny and corruption.

A silver lining
It is easy to become angry as it becomes clearer every day that the coronavirus lockdown response has been a partisan media hype job without any basis, and we have all been deprived of our most essential civil rights by a bunch of power-mad politicians.
After all, as of today’s Pennsylvania Department of Health statistics, exactly 2/3 of the deaths here attributed to covid19 Wuhan Flu occurred in nursing homes and other elder care facilities, among vulnerable elderly people who already had serious health problems.
And we are also learning that a great many of the Wuhan Flu – related deaths are not actually related to the CCP Wuhan Flu. But they are chalked up to it to artificially inflate the numbers, to make it seem worse than it is.
And we are also learning that the death rate of the Wuhan CCP Flu is actually very low. Lower than ye olde regular annual flu! In other words, a lot lot lot of Americans contracted the CCP Flu, showed little or no signs of it, and did not die or become hospitalized.
So as a bunch of justifiably angry Michiganders storm their state house, and as sheriffs in barely-touched rural areas defy state governors’ over-reach, and as counties and townships begin to open up for business on their own terms (with people wearing masks and standing apart), it is easy to see that a public powder keg could go up in dramatic fashion. Why not? It is the American way. It is how we founded our great nation. Hang ’em high!
But there has been a silver lining to all of this stay-the-f*ck-at-home stuff, and that is the result that American families have spent more time together, as families, than since 1952 and the advent of the television. Families have been forced together. In our own home we have had regular family dinners, family conversations, some doozy family fights, and lots of really valuable, really enjoyable, really loving time together. This has been the upside of all the artificial insanity.
And that said, I will also say that I lost a lot of acquaintances and some friends in New York City. They were mostly much older, almost all with some existing health challenges. Some died alone in a hospital, their family members unable to be with them at their time of passing, as they choked to death alone in unfamiliar surroundings. Bad deaths, really hurt and very sad families. There is no question that New York City and its environs have been the hardest hit from the Wuhan Flu, and it is turning out that most of their deaths were also in nursing homes, where Governor Cuomo ordered sick people to go, even as the virus spread.
So yes, there are going to be some lessons learned here. Some painful ones and some good ones. The main good one being that American families are still intact, much more so than we might have thought just eight weeks ago. Let’s not forget this nor let it go. Spending family time together is one of the very best ways to spend time. Hopefully we don’t need a public health emergency to remind us in the future.

A single-brain-celled animal lives in the deepest oceanic depths, and its jello-soft blobular body can replicate like rabbits, self-heal, split and morph into clones, and swarm in seemingly endless numbers. This is the mysterious “cone jelly.” It is pretty much the animal kingdom’s actual mindless zombie horde so many of us joke about when describing living people who carelessly consume spoon-fed political narratives from the partisan media and who move through life like mindless robots as a result.
While not a whole lot is yet known about the covid19 CCP virus, here are some things we have learned in the past month about many of the people living on Planet Earth as a result of the demopanic:
- Globalism carries enormous risks and costs that probably greatly outweigh globalism’s benefits. Globalism is sold on its face as trade, even free trade between many nations, but it is really the purposeful enrichment of just a few people at the worst possible cost of the many billions of other people. Globalism created this gigantically costly Wuhan Flu problem here in America through artificially porous borders. Previous examples include the American chestnut blight in 1912, the Spanish flu 1918-1922, and the various Chinese flus of the 1980s-2000’s that all started outside of America, and nearly crippled our nation for a long time.
- Turns out people are power hungry. Some politicians will use a demopanic to grab power that blatantly violates the federal and state constitutions. Yes, we thought America was immune to this, and we were wrong. We must eternally stand guard and not allow broad claims of “We are protecting you from yourself and other high risks” to justify the destruction of our rights.
- Some politicians will use the demopanic pandemic to extort unrelated and unearned political results and taxpayer-funded payouts that the off-balance and vulnerable voters would not otherwise support. Again, older Americans never thought they would see a political party hold millions of sick Americans hostage in order to get greasy political payoffs, but we just watched Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer throw Mister and Missus America overboard in their power grab.
- Some voters will support political power grabs and political extortion because they both advance statism and big government ideology. And have we ever seen these anti-American ideologies on parade lately! It is as if liberals sense that America is weak, and they are openly coming in for the kill. But who would have thought so many of our fellow Americans hated America?!
- We desperately need news outlet diversity, as witnessed by the activist media’s relentless daily cone jelly fake news swarm attacks on us, the citizens, and on our president. The first attack being the equating of New York City covid19 risks with the rest of America, thereby generalizing the suffocating costs of the Wuhan Flu while its worst effects were extremely localized, and the latest such attack being that the president ‘encouraged people to inject themselves with Clorox bleach’…when in fact, what President Trump described in his press briefing are the common antibiotic irrigations, saline IV drips, and various chemical infusions used daily to save people’s lives across America.
The cone jellies are mindlessly swarming America, trying to overwhelm it and suffocate it. Stand your guard! Defend America!

We people need to just do what we need to do to move forward
America’s economy is now in artificial tatters, an unnecessary result of very poor public policies in reaction to the Wuhan coronavirus.
Politicians are not going to be able to solve this ridiculous virus panic. In fact, politicians are mostly making it much worse than it really is, and probably they are doing that on purpose. A lust for power, a desire to hurt a political opponent at any cost, even at the cost of hurting and inflicting huge personal losses on the citizens, seem to be the main reasons why governors in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky, and elsewhere have thrown down the gauntlet and are acting like dictators.
The “orders” these governors and local governments have issued are laughably confused, full of inexplicable contradictions and clear violations of Americans’ most basic rights and freedoms. Kentucky’s governor warns churchgoers that he ordered the Kentucky State Police to take down license plates of cars parked in church parking lots on Easter Sunday and other days, so that they can be ticketed later. Michigan’s governor says power boats are not allowed, but sail boats and canoes are OK, but Michiganders may not visit their hunting cabins. In Valley County, Montana, the county health department [I originally and incorrectly wrote that it was Missoula, Montana, the ultra liberal city council there shaping the rest of the surrounding county] issued an order that coronavirus-free people wear pink arm bands in public. Another county in another state went so far as to issue an order that anyone with coronoavirus could be, and probably would be, picked up by the police and involuntarily committed to a special quarantine location. Here in Pennsylvania, Governor Wolf vetoed a bill passed by both the PA House and Senate that brought clarity and structure to his own bizarre order. Wolf now demands that everyone in public wear a mask and that people not wearing masks must not be served in the stores they are in. Local PA townships are not permitted to approve land subdivisions, even though the townships can and do meet by teleconference that pose no health risk to anyone. Home construction is stopped cold, not because Wolf has demonstrated that there is an identifiable risk of spreading a contagious disease from building homes, but simply because he says so.
These orders have nothing to do with actually serving the people of America. They are not actually helping people. The risks of the Kung Flu are obviously much higher in congested places like New York City than in flyover country. These orders are self-serving the politicians with more power and discretion over our personal lives than the political process would ever give them.
And this list of crazy, insane, tyrannical orders over the past few weeks goes on and on. Every one of these orders violates the most essential, core aspects of being an American. Again, with no measurable public benefit and yet at enormous cost to our individual finances.
One good thing that has emerged from the Chinese coronavirus panic is that we all get to see in broad daylight that there are many power-hungry Americans amongst us, who will use whatever power they have to get more power, and to crush dissent, strip us of our liberties, and use overwhelming coercive government force to throw us in jail for made-up violations. We used to laugh that such people could ever exist in our political system! Well, here they are, front and center, and they are no laughing matter!
If ever there was a need for an America with our Bill of Rights protecting individual due process rights and freedoms, this past month has demonstrated it.
So if the politicians are hell bent on screwing up our lives, and destroying America’s economy, then the only people who can fix this is us. You and me. The citizens and local officials who live here, pay taxes here, work here in America. We have to clean this mess up.
It is time for We, The People to put our foot down and show the politicians that despite their crazy power grabs and ridiculous demands upon us, we are going to do what is best for us. We can wear masks and stand apart in public, no problem. We would choose to do that anyhow. But we will open up our businesses again, we will go for walks again, we will drive on the roads for pleasure again, we will approve land subdivisions again, and you can call it civil disobedience, but we will live free again. There is no way any governor is going to enforce their nutty and unconstitutional order by rounding up everyone and putting them in jail.
And if any governor tries to do that, then there is the old tried-and-true torches, pitch forks, and a bucket of hot tar at the governor’s residence to get things straightened out again in a hurry. We are Americans, after all, not sheep.
