Digital currency’s iron slave chains
Oh, the irony of a bank that is now insolvent in part because it illegally gave unsustainable amounts of highly regulated investor money to the domestic terrorist group “Black Lives Matter,” due to the weird political and anti-historic narrative that present day huge cash transfers (so called reparations from people who never owned slaves to people who never were slaves) are required from all other Americans to American blacks alone, above and beyond the past seventy years of gigantic taxpayer funded welfare programs and affirmative action preferences that ignored merit and rewarded skin color and that have benefited American blacks almost exclusively at enormous financial cost to America.
It is illegal to give away bank assets, or structure investing strategies, if it damages the bank’s ability to fully ensure its fiduciary duty to its shareholders and clients. The sole purpose of a bank or investment firm is to maximize its clients’ financial benefits.
This failure of Silicon Valley Bank has already created a ripple effect in the banking industry that is threatening a whole host of banks, including industry giant Credit Suisse. So it is not just one bank, but many that are being destroyed by Black Lives Matter. Turns out one of the primary reasons so many banks are in big trouble is because they contributed some 73 BILLION DOLLARS to Black Lives Matter and related spin-off organizations. None of these donations were legal, because they put the banks’ balance sheets in jeopardy, but as we know already from the related failure of Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX fund (which now appears to have been created primarily to launder money and funnel it into the Democrat Party and BLM), illegal massive political donations due to the need to virtue signal is a Big Thing.
What is not ironic but scary about these bank and investment fund failures is the crisis opportunity it is creating for advocates of digital currency. And digital currency means just one thing: Slavery. Slavery through government control of how, when, and where you spend your own money.
Digital currency has nothing to do with convenience. No one really cares about that. I mean, how inconvenient is it really to pull a twenty dollar bill out of your wallet or purse and pay for gas, groceries, or lunch out with a business colleague? Paper money and coin is not only plenty convenient, it is the hallmark of a free person making free market decisions. No one else controls how much of your own money you decide to spend.
On the other hand, digital currency will always be directly controlled by the government. No matter what empty promises are made about digital currency’s privacy, there is only one reason for it to exist, and that is to put government bureaucrats in charge of your own finances. And as soon as you have digital currency, the government can turn it on or turn it off, take it away with the push of a button, or block it from being transferred to a person or business because someone in government does not like what you are trying to buy. Like maybe a gun, or a gasoline powered car, or firewood, or clothing made by a particular manufacturer.
Government control of your spending choices is slavery. You will not be able to make your own decisions. This arrangement is being pushed by the same exact people in government (the current administration) who wanted to monitor every withdrawal and expenditure above $600.00 that you and I make, and who wanted to limit your bank account, and who now have the Internal Revenue Service digging deeply and illegally into every financial decision we make, looking for the smallest of discrepancies to then come down like a ton of bricks upon each of us.
Digital currency is government gone wild, driven by bad people who do not like your freedom. These are people who really truly believe that they know best how you should spend your own money, and they are now trying to use government to set up everything so that you are hemmed in on every side and can only do what these bureaucrats tell you you can do.
It is difficult to tell how many Americans are catching on to this situation. So many Americans wrongly believe that America is too big to fail, even while America is failing right under our feet and under our noses, right in front of our faces. The Silicon Valley Bank failure is bad enough, and its reasons for failing are bad enough. But the ripple effect and bigger outcomes from its failure are really, really bad. Incredibly bad. Much worse than just a handful of banks going insolvent. The use of this growing banking and “financial crisis” to implement digital currency so that we go from being a free people to an enslaved people is the worst part of it.
Say No to digital currency. Say Yes to your freedom to decide how and where and when you will spend your own money. Resist and push back against the evil people who are seeking to take over your life by controlling your financial decisions. Or, don’t resist, and then don’t complain when you find yourself suddenly enslaved to totalitarian government in heavy chains of iron.
And if you are thinking ahead about your own freedom and ability to be self-reliant and independent, then you will be growing a substantial garden, keeping some chickens, and thinking of ways you can participate in a barter system that keeps government hands off of you.
The People must resist both Biden & Putin
This morning I spoke with a recently retired two star general, whose opinions surprised me. Acquiring an accurate or well-rounded view of anything complex requires getting multiple perspectives, so I listened without interrupting. Which is tough, because I am a person with almost endless opinions (occasionally wrong, never in doubt). What follows is my take on this discussion.
Putin is not the murderous madman many see him as, but rather more of a Stalin character. That is, someone obsessed with power and absolute control because of his own deep fears and huge ego. To many, this combination sure sounds like the ingredients we would find inside the mind of a madman, but Putin may well be acting clear-minded out of deep fear of a creeping Westernization moving eastward into Russia proper.
As Russia has always culturally been a dictatorship of one sort or another: Czar, communist dictator, or nationalist dictator, the idea of democracy is in truth anathema to even Russians who say or vaguely think they want democracy. This is what drives Putin.
And so when Ukraine gets too cozy with the West and NATO, old-time Russians like Putin feel deeply threatened. Younger Russians probably not, and it is Putin’s domestic battle with these younger generations who have different values than he that makes him feel like he absolutely must shore up his western flank in Ukraine. Can’t have too much democracy creeping into Russia from all these angles!
Putin wants absolute control.
And so does Biden, whose blatant incompetence in Afghanistan, Iran, and now Ukraine reveals an administration that acutely feels its own illegitimacy, and thus must put all its resources into shoring up its domestic control.
From Biden’s grotesque efforts to control the bank accounts of Americans (tracking all bank account activity greater than $600.00, seeking an additional 83,000 IRS agents like the Sheriff of Nottingham on steroids, and nominating people to senior government positions who proudly oppose personal bank accounts and cash currency, and who worship Chairman Mao), to Biden’s illegal mass surveillance state and inward focus of the US armed forces, to Biden’s lawless FBI/ DHS/ DOJ kidnapping of and targeting political opponents for total personal destruction, it is clear that foreign policy is barely an afterthought.
Biden has even managed to do the strategically unthinkable and previously unacceptable (if we assume America has a government that wants America to survive as America): He has pushed Russia and China into a cooperative relationship that is highly capable of challenging the entire West on every front, be it military, economic, demographic, etc.
Instead, what Biden is after is complete domestic domination. He is actively pursuing a totalitarian control of all of us, all Americans, at any price, at any cost. Soaring inflation, huge drops in the value of the American Dollar, a wide-open southern border designed to flood America with a massive surge of un-countered lawbreaking and social destruction…these things are the normal care of federal government (in reverse, like fighting against them, not allowing them to happen, as now). But not Biden. Nope. None of this really matters to him. These are costs of doing the business of getting total domestic control of a population long accustomed to living freely.
What Biden cares about is getting control of people who believe in the American constitutional republic as it was founded. Those people, people like me, are Biden’s true enemies. Not Aghani jihadis, not Russian tanks or missiles, not illegal aliens stressing out our taxpayer funded public resources and criminal justice system, not Chinese spies gutting our national security and trade secrets, but law-abiding Americans who believe in the rule of law and America’s founding principles.
Both Putin and Biden must be resisted, but the truth is, Biden is the far greater threat than Putin. Putin wants to rule his own immediate world, while Biden wants to rule your house and mine, your kids and mine, your choices and mine, and your freedoms and mine.
Biden is the greater danger and the true madman in our lives today.
The First American Republic Ended January 20, 2021
The First American Republic ended with the inauguration of a blatantly fraudulently elected president on January 20, 2021. At stake in the 2020 election results was the legitimacy of American elections, which were proven many times over to have been blatantly stolen by the Democrat Party in at least seven states, and possibly even in states like New York and California, and the resilience of the US Constitution. Now that neither elections nor the Constitution amount to a hill of beans, everything else that America was based on is pffffft gone, vanished.
Oh, most Americans are carrying on as if everything is just dandy normal, business as usual. Especially so the Republican Party establishment, like former president George W. Bush, former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, present US Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell, et al. But the fact remains that while most Americans went about their business as usual lives for fifty years, a worm was eating away at the foundation of the nation. US senator Joe McCarthy was correct that 1950s communists were burrowing their way into government agencies and other institutions fundamental to the democratic process by which our Republic had lived since 1787, if not since 1776. Those communist worms just kept on eating and eating away from the inside, every year ever more and more protected by an enjoined news and entertainment industry that not only deflected prying eyes from what the worms were doing, but which then began to carry their political, ideological, and cultural messages for them.
And so here we are, early 2021, living through the result of a stolen election by people who have zero time for Constitutional safeguards or limits on government behavior. That is why they stole the election in the first place. They mean to use all that power! Without limit or brake or sadness about who will become collateral damage along their way forward.
The American republic is absolutely over now, of that there is no question. Whatever individual rights and civil liberties Americans believed they had in November 2020, those are now gone, pfffft, vanished in the face of an explosively authoritarian federal government whose daily use of illegal, shockingly violent, coercive force against our own citizens is only just beginning.
While the Framers (Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Franklin, Hancock, et al) anticipated an amazing number of political situations, and an amazing number of checks and balances to offset the possibility of condensed government power, they could not have anticipated the hegemonic rise of the overtly Marxist and anti-freedom Democrat Party simultaneous with the demise of the old Republican Party. And the condensed political power that Democrat Party now holds. Recall that the abolitionist GOP was created in 1860 to tackle head-on the Democrat Party’s southern enslavement of the African Negro, and to stop the Democrat Party’s efforts to expand that slavery into new American territories like Kansas. For whatever reason, the GOP today has almost nothing of its abolitionist roots alive and motivating its elected members. To be an elected Republican today is to be someone good at golf, good at fundraising at the district’s country clubs, good at sounding “moderate,” all the while always giving in to the Marxists, and never, ever fighting them. Republicans just make money from government, and they leave that power thing to the other guys.
And so without Republican adversaries, the Democrat Party Marxists have simply expanded like a cancer into every nook and cranny in America. Media, entertainment, Big Tech, education, academia, government (especially the administrative state and the judiciary), foundations, corporations….all dominated by leftists and “moderates” who openly enable the Marxists around them. Even once-conservative places like the Heritage Foundation and the Hoover Institute are now overthrown. The Heritage Foundation is now proud owner of spineless jellyfish useless idiot VP Mike Pence, who literally handed America to the Marxists on January 6th this year, and the Hoover Institute is openly serenading Americans with friendly interviews with such anti-America-First luminaries as H.R. McMaster.
And so, the only semblance of organized opposition remaining to the Marxist takeover of America from inside that could have been assembled – the American voter – was also jettisoned, because it/they/we could not be taken over by the Marxists. Once the 2020 election was stolen, and the entire Democrat Party-run apparatus around us both refused to address the open fraud that occurred and also barked at anyone who called for investigations, the Republic ended. It died. It disappeared.
And so, dear reader, the First American Republic ended the moment that a fraudulent pretender was fraudulently sworn in as the 46th president of America.
Like everyone else, I have no crystal ball to see the future. Honestly, I thought all of this illegality would have been forcefully corrected by now. But new surprises come every day, like the US military senior officers being only too happy to both serve their new Marxist masters and to help them speedily implement their genocidal plans for America. And so one wonders if there is any fight for freedom and liberty left in Americans, or if we are all just asleep at the wheel, too satiated with good food and beer to be bothered with correcting the stolen election.
One wonders if the mentality isn’t “Heck, let the Chinese run America, too.”
Who knows if there will be a Second American Republic, soon or ever. Right now we are in the very early days of an American tyranny that not even our former British overlords could have dreamt up. One thing is for sure, “things” are probably going to get a lot lot worse before they get any better, or anywhere back close to the freedoms we enjoyed in November 2020. The question is, will there be enough Americans willing and able to resist this tyranny by the time our citizens realize just how bad our situation is and that the First American Republic is over?
FBI now officially a Democrat Party political weapon
Over the past twelve years, the Federal Bureau of Investigations could not prosecute open sedition or treason against the United States of America. “Sanctuary cities” in clear violation of federal and state laws were allowed to flourish and corrode our body politic from within, producing violent South American drug cartels operating freely in American towns that included unsolved beheadings of American citizens and murders of entire families.
FBI leaders and agents have blatantly used their official positions to protect political allies like Hillary Clinton, while using their official positions to attack, threaten, punish, jail and fine innocent people who just happen to be not their political allies. Peter Stzrok, James Comey, Andrew McCabe and many others have used their official taxpayer-funded jobs to politicize law enforcement, thereby destroying the foundations of the rule of law, the equal protection of the law, and official accountability for official malfeasance. In America, all citizens are supposed to be equal, but at the FBI some citizens are “more equal” than others.
The FBI couldn’t find the time to investigate blatant voter fraud in the November 2020 election, in order to promote the fraudulent candidacy of China Joe Biden, nor could it self-police its own rogue agents, nor could it investigate the criminal contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop. In contrast, now the FBI has agents immediately scouring America for their so-called “MAGA Most Wanted” list of people who briefly occupied the US Capitol building last Wednesday, and the FBI is even now rounding up Republican law makers in Tennessee on obviously fake charges stemming from political differences.
Can you imagine if the FBI had lifted a finger to confront the year-long violent rioting, looting, arson, murder, and vandalism conducted by Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA members? How many lives and businesses might have been saved! And can you imagine if the FBI had compiled a “Black Lives Matter Most Wanted” list of suspects from the various riots around America in 2020?
No, you cannot imagine that? Right, because had the FBI engaged in that kind of overt political statement, all hell would have broken loose. People would have rightly asked “What kind of a federal agency is targeting an activist group by name?” And yet, here we have the very purposeful political statement by the FBI that it is specifically going after “MAGA” people (Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again supporters).
This is not only not right, it is a crystal clear declaration by the FBI that it is an illegal political tool firmly behind one political party, the Democrat Party. The agency does not represent ‘the law,” it represents the un-law, the authoritarian coercive and selective use of illegal and immoral laws for political and personal gain. The agency is now an aggressive political tool for the Democrat Party, much like the East German STASI and the Russian KGB secret police were for their respective authoritarian regimes, acting illegally to advance a partisan political agenda. The FBI is abusing and misusing the law in order to achieve political goals.
This is nuts; it is totally un-American, because it destroys the foundations of any democracy. And yet we have a lot of Americans openly cheering for it. If the shoe were on the other foot, they would be openly rioting over it. So these presently cheering Americans will have to move aside or forgive the others if they riot; this would be consistent behavior, and not the double standard Democrat Party people have become addicted to.
I do not know how much more stomach at least half of American citizens have for this disgusting behavior by our nation’s pre-eminent law enforcement agency, and the political party it has been protecting and promoting for the past twelve years. We have already endured four years of brutal partisan FBI political machinations, including no-knock 4AM raids on innocent people like Roger Stone and General Michael Flynn, and other overtly political statements with guns drawn under color of law by those taxpayer-funded law enforcement professionals. Now we are watching the agency move lightning-fast to round up political opponents and turn them into political prisoners.
If last Wednesday’s peaceful protest in Washington, DC, was any indication of what can happen in America these days, it is plausible to believe that all civilian taxpayer Second Amendment hell can break loose right back over the zero-credibility FBI and its political party. Thomas Jefferson wrote that “the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time by the blood of patriots and tyrants,” because he probably envisioned a time like right now when one group of people would seek official tyrannical domination over everyone else. Jefferson knew human nature back in 1776, and now the FBI is showing us the worst of it all over again.
Enter the Spirit of 1776, you motherfuckers. But the difference between 2021 and 1776 is that in 2021 American citizens will not be staging a revolution against established authority, they are beginning to resist an illegal Marxist revolution implemented through grievously corrupt and audacious political over-reach by the Democrat Party, due to the complete failure of the other supposedly counter-balancing political party to perform its basic functions.
I put all my money on the American civilian resistance, despite the FBI being supported by Big Tech (FaceBook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, Apple etc) and Big Media (NPR, NYT, CBS, NBC etc.). At the end of the day, we have free minds and able bodies. Welcome to your own resistance, FBI-ocrats.
Is it time for civil disobedience and ignoring kook judicial holdings?
Civil disobedience, non-resistance obstructionism, and peaceful protests against clearly unfair laws and violent government agents is time-honored in America.
Civil disobedience works because it appeals to the higher mind, it appeals to the best, highest conscience in Western Civilization. You have to have an open mind to have civil disobedience work on your political views so that you vote for change from the status quo.
It won’t work in a Muslim country, where civil disobedience will just get you locked up and tortured, or summarily killed.
It did work for Ghandi in India because the 1940s British empire valued democracy and voting rights, and the public cry at home over images of British soldiers shooting peaceful protestors in Delhi’s public streets threatened to up-end political control at home.
Americans have successfully employed civil disobedience since the 1920s: Segregation laws, no voting rights for women, a lack of equal rights or opportunity across so many sectors of society… the causes were real and political changes were needed for America to live up to its promise.
And ain’t America an amazing place that it is designed to change and heal old wounds, to become a better place?
Because the original use of civil disobedience was so righteous, because so many of the laws being protested in the 1920s through the 1960s were so outrageously unjust, the behavior eventually took on a connotation of being above the law and always justified. In fact, over time even violence became justified in the name of Marxist versions of “justice,” and pro-violence slogans like “No Justice, No Peace” evolved.
Today, violent, fake civil disobedience has been employed by the “Occupy Wall Street” thugs, and by the violent criminals in Ferguson, Missouri. These events always start off as a routine, rote, formula civil disobedience act, and then they quickly devolve into destruction, arson, violence, beatings, attacks on bystanders….all in the name of some Marxist version of “justice.”
Inevitably, politically allied elected officials have begun to implement their jobs in a similar fashion. No matter what the law says, they ignore it, and make a big public deal about subverting the law. As if they are justified. They actually take pride in failing to implement the law as they are supposed to.
Examples of elected officials ignoring and subverting the law are a county clerk of courts issuing same-sex marriage licenses, despite Pennsylvania law saying it is illegal. Or Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane refusing to defend state laws, because she personally disagrees with them. Or California banning state judges from belonging to the Boy Scouts. Or the Obama administration willfully failing to implement immigration law. Or Harrisburg City mayor Eric Papenfuse refusing to rescind city ordinances that are plainly illegal under state preemption law, because Papenfuse holds certain personal views about guns.
This lawlessness by the very people entrusted with safeguarding and implementing the law is dangerous. These wayward officials stand on quicksand, because the basis of our republican form of democracy is the rule of law – equal application of the law, irrespective of what one personally believes.
If government officials begin ignoring laws they disagree with, and implementing law that was not voted into being by the consent of the voters, then the rule of law is over, it has ended. The glue that holds America together is corroded, and the whole edifice can come down.
But let’s ask why only one side of the political debate does this. We know they get away with this because the mainstream media protects them, but the MSM veil has been pierced by the Internet, so the flow of information is no longer completely bottled up by fellow travelers.
Put another way, why don’t other people, say people like American traditionalists, “conservatives,” engage in the same behavior?
Here is an example of what could be done: Last week a federal judge ruled that Arizona must issue drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. Never mind that these people are in America ILLEGALLY, the claims they make for their applications could be and often are fraudulent, and the cost of these services is unfairly covered by taxpayers.
Why don’t the good officials of Arizona simply ignore that judge’s insane ruling? That judge has no ability to actually make Arizona issue drivers licenses, and if I worked in Arizona government, or if I still worked in federal government and had something to do with allowing illegal immigrants in, I would simply ignore that judge’s crazy ruling, or the illegal commands of the occupant of the White House.
There, folks, how do you like the taste of that medicine now?
Think of the many kook, nakedly political judicial decisions that are handed down, contrary to law and policy. Why reward these dictatorial jurists by following their dictates? Why not simply ignore them? God knows, they are earning it.
Civil disobedience and official lawlessness is a game that everyone can play, and at some point the people who have been acting like adults will recognize they only stand to lose by following the rule of law while their opponents exploit their fidelity, and only by fighting fire with fire will they make it clear that everyone must follow and implement the law, no matter what their personal views are, or everyone loses.
Or, people can do it the old fashioned way, and work to get the law changed one vote at a time.
