First Comments on Historic Trojan Horse "Healthcare" Bill Passed by Democrats

Congressional candidate Josh First tonight issued a statement regarding the U.S. House vote that passed a Soviet-style "healthcare" bill.

"Tonight Americans get to see the core of the Democratic Party: Karl Marx. This bill is nothing but a Trojan Horse intended to enslave Americans to their government.  Our great nation deserves better than this."

"Forcing American citizens to purchase healthcare, punishing those citizens who do pay for expensive healthcare, and fining us if we do not buy it, yet forcing us to subsidize abortion, and all the while invading our private lives to enforce this big government takeover. This is nothing but the Soviet Union in disguise. This vote has nothing to do with healthcare, but with the role of government. And this creates a multi-tentacled government that our nation never anticipated."

"One person alone in the Pa-17th congressional district bears responsibility for this debacle, and that is Tim Holden. Holden voted to bring it up for a vote last year, and only by giving Nancy Pelosi the ability to guage support was she able to finally get it passed now. Tim Holden has been lying that he voted against it, but he didn't. He voted for it in the beginning. He must be held responsible at the ballot box."

"The Democratic Party has hereby set off a nuclear bomb on our nation's economy, and on their own party. If elected, I will do everything in my power to overturn this unconstitutional garbage," said First.

"Real issues exist with health care. Portability, tort reform, existing conditions, termination without warning or without a grace period. But this bill does not address those issues."
