On Saturday night, congressional candidate Josh First joined
Attorney General Tom Corbett, state senator Rich Alloway, Pa Game
Commission executive director Carl Roe, new Pa Fish and Boat
Commission Commission executive director John Arway, and other
political and conservation leaders at the annual Conference of
Pennsylvania Federation of Sportsman's Clubs, held in Middletown,
Dauphin County.
"My long association with the Pa Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs on
political strategy and policy issues has been one of my most cherished
relationships in Pennsylvania," said First. First is a lifelong
hunter and fisherman with a passion for protecting wildlife habitat
through acqusition.
First spoke about his two goals of turning back the clock to a simpler
day when the Constitution formed the basis for all policy and law, and
the need for independence through native energy independence as a
bridge to a more sustainable future, food independence through
aggressive farmland protection, and foreign policy independence
through leaving the United Nations.
"Americans must be able to support themselves, and huge job markets
await our energy independence efforts. Without jobs, America will be
adrift. Credit cannot run an economy. We must produce, and we must be
able to feed our people in the future," he said.
