On Wednesday, March 17, 2010, Josh First drew his ballot position from a box at the Pennsylvania Department of State official ballot position drawing.  Candidates for federal, state, and local elections were present to draw their lots for their ballot position.  First will be third on the ballot, out of four candidates.

"What a neat way to start the middle of this week," said First.

"After speaking across the district every single day but one since last week, it felt nice to put an official touch on the effort by knowing where my name will be on the ballot."

First has spoken several times each in Lebanon County and Dauphin County over the past week.

"With a last name like mine, it would have been fun to have picked either first or last position on the ballot, we could have made a word good play with it," he said.

"I enjoyed talking with candidates Frank Ryan and Allen Griffith afterwards.  These are good men.  The voters have a good selection of Republican candidates for the PA 17th district," concluded First.
