On January 27th, Josh interviewed with the Lower Dauphin County Republican Committee, a consortium of local Party township and municipal committees from the southern end of the county.

"It was a positive, refreshing experience," said First.

"The questions I received from the members and participants reminded me of why I am running for Congress and why I love living in Central Pennsylvania.  People asked me why and how Atheism has unfortunately become the official religion of our government and nation, how and why God has been removed from the public square and schools, how and why freedom of expression is not even debated in the press or evoked by our political leaders, and how and why our Constitution has been misinterpreted to exclude everything our Nation was founded on and misinterpreted to include so many ideas that are contrary to what our Nation stands for," said First.

"It was my pleasure to pledge to lead the charge to roll back those problems and restore American greatness and core values and freedoms.  For example, my first act as a congressman will be to submit legislation to eliminate state regulation of the Second Amendment to the Constitution.  I also pledge to hold regular town hall meetings with my constituents, who should not have to petition their elected officials in Washington; rather, they should easily access them in their home town," First concluded.

There was widespread acknowledgement among audience members that current Congressman Tim Holden has been an enabler of the radical Left-wing assault on American values.  The committee declined to endorse any candidate for the Pennsylvania 17th Congressional  District, which is a win for political newcomer Josh First.
