On the evening of January 20, 2010, Josh First spoke at the Derry Township Republican Committee meeting in Hershey, Pennsylvania, one of Pennsylvania's best-known communities and a crown jewel in the PA 17th congressional district.

 

"It was an honor to be invited to speak, and I enjoyed meeting these hard working, dedicated Republicans who, like all other Republican Committee people, donate so much time to make our nation a better place," said candidate Josh First.

 

Afterwards, the committee declined to make an endorsement of either Josh First or incumbent state senator Dave Argall.
