Mister, you need an abortion

Now that liberals in New York State and Virginia and elsewhere have legally defined abortion to include infanticide, that is, the cold-blooded murder of a breathing child that has been born and is outside the mother’s body, we can look forward to the following kind of dialogue in the coming years…

A man is bent over working on his front lawn garden on a sunny summer afternoon

Young lady: “Hello, Mister Rogers? I am from the health department.”

Rogers: “Yes, young lady, I am Mister Rogers. How can I help you?”, Rogers says, standing up and wiping his hands on his gardening apron.

Young lady: “Mister Rogers, it appears that your health care provider has scheduled you for an abortion.”

Rogers: “An abortion? What do you mean? I am a man! I cannot have an abortion!”

Young lady: “I mean, you are scheduled to be aborted, Mister Rogers. You are scheduled to have a post-birth abortion.”

Rogers: “But…but…I was born fifty-eight years ago! I am a grown man! I can’t be aborted!”

Young lady: “Well, according to your health care provider, you have unhealthy social views, that cause people to feel bad, and so you are being aborted, as the law allows.”

Rogers: “This is ridiculous! I am a living human being! You can’t just kill someone, especially for their social views…”

Young lady: “Please hold still, Mister Rogers, this will only sting a little bit and it won’t hurt, you won’t feel a thing, I promise.”

Ryan’s NobamaCare Plan

RINO Paul Ryan, Speaker of the US House, is unveiling a complicated “reform” of ObamaCare as I write these words.

To say his plan is complicated is a gross understatement. The fact that it requires so many charts and graphs tells us everything we need to know: No.

The main problem with Ryan’s NobamaCare plan is that it becomes part and parcel of an already clunky and complicated federal tax code.

We don’t need no more stinkin’ federal tax code stuff, unless it is a total overhaul. Like elimination and replacement.

Ryan’s plan just makes it all worse, both the health care part and the federal tax part.

Only elimination will suffice.

One of the issues with political careerists like Ryan is that they are unwilling to think or act outside the box. They accept certain premises handed down by previous elected officials, instead of questioning why and how they did what they did.

I mean, look at federal and state pension problems alone. What on earth motivated previous elected officials to create these monstrosities? It sure wasn’t a careful and judicious use of limited taxpayer funds! Why, you could be led to believe that those former politicians had used taxpayer money to create largess and thus buy votes, so they could stay in office….

Career politicians like Ryan are terrified of making a mistake, because they are terrified of losing their cozy job and benefits. He refuses to make a principled stand when it can count. So he\they stick to what is politically safe, ie palatable to the special interests that control him\them and then those interests that control the opposition party.

The concerns of us citizens factor in way last, if at all in their calculations.

So, ObamaCare must go, as it is the Unaffordable Care Act, and no, you could not keep your health plan, and no, you could not keep your doctor. It was a disaster. You cannot fix a disaster. You get rid of a disaster.

And while we are at it, can we get rid of RINO Ryan, too? America needs a principles-focused person, man or woman, in that congressional seat. Ryan ain’t gettin it done. In fact, as we see this morning, Ryan is making it a lot worse than it already is.

If I couldn’t keep my doctor, then why do I have to keep Ryan?

Say bye to both problems.

Television isn’t my news source, OK?

When Leftists debate, they often assert that the only reason someone has a certain perspective is because they watch Fox News.

Never mind that for every one Fox News there are twenty-five liberal news manufacturing sources, such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, National Public Radio, NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, and so on.  Never mind that these legacy media are overwhelmingly dominant in creating, filtering, shaping, politicizing, and serving information to people.  Never mind that these legacy media are each and every one an arm of one political party.

For liberals, simply invoking “Fox News” seems sufficient, to them, to refute whatever facts or arguments they object to.

Probably like a lot of other people, I do not watch TV.  It isn’t that I don’t want to.  Rather, I simply do not have the time.  Rarely do I watch some PBS special, like Downton Abbey.  I don’t think our family’s cable plan, as minimal as it is, even includes Fox News.  So, no, I do not get my news from Fox News.

When I assert that Obama is a liar, it is because the man is a liar, as evidenced by the lies he says over and over.  You don’t need a TV news channel to tell you that Obama’s false promise that Americans could keep their doctors and their health plans, if they wanted to, was a bold-faced lie to curry support for what he knew was, would be, and still is a hugely unpopular law – ObamaCare.

Other Obama lies about illegal immigration/ invasion, his administration’s illegal domestic wiretapping of citizens and journalists, his illegal use of the IRS to intimidate, blunt, silence, and even jail political opponents are all as plain as day.

What is frustrating is that Obama’s supporters are so doctrinaire, so blindly committed, so partisan, that they cannot or will not think for themselves.  This willful ignorance is a first in American history.  It exceeds mere partisanship. It is scary because it cannot be reasoned with.  It is like a fire, burning everything in its way.  And that I saw on TV, on “Wild Kingdom,” when I was a kid, and I knew even then it was dangerous.

Calls to US Senator Bob Casey’s offices…anyone home?

As one of millions of pissed off Americans making calls to elected officials last week about 0bamaCare, I shared the surprise that millions had: Not only did no one answer the calls, but the various offices’ voice mail boxes were full.

It appears that Senator Bob Casey does not want to hear from citizens that they are unhappy with the disastrous new program. However, acting on the hunch that his home office in the Scranton area would be open, I called and spoke with a nice young lady.

She took my call, listened to my brief opposition to 0bamaCare, and said Thank You. She never took my name. That says it all…it’s just lip service.

Even the national unions are openly opposing 0bamaCare. Casey doesn’t want to know. Is this the kind of person we want in elected office? I say No.

0bamaCare, on the rocks…keep pushing

0bamaCare is on the rocks, with strong efforts to defund it or eliminate it altogether gathering steam in both the US Senate and US House.

The nascent program is a disaster. It’s causing healthcare costs to rise dramatically, everyone who is someone has received a temporary compliance waiver from the White House. Unions are demanding that it end. And the icing on the cake is that federal bureaucrats, including congressmen and their staffers, are not required to abide by it.

The politicians actually voted themselves a waiver from 0bamaCare. But you and me, the serfs, the peons, the masses…we must obey.

Lend your voice to knocking this horrendous law over the cliff, call your elected officials and ask them to vote against 0bamaCare.

Take It From The Pro

Nothing like hearing from professionals on a subject.
