Candidate Josh First participated in the Republican Herald's forum at the historic Sovereign Majestic Theatre in downtown Pottsville. "The staff did an outstanding job preparing and moderating the event," said First.

"It was a pleasure to meet the audience members before and after, and the pledges of support mean a lot to me," he said.

First was accompanied by long time friend and hunting partner, retired Col. Jack Keith, who has played a significant role in the campaign.

"The four of us candidates have become close with one another over the past five months, and although I look forward to Election Day, I will also miss the camaraderie that has developed among us. There's been no politics as usual. Just good solid competition, the basis of our great nation," he said.
