At the event, half a dozen new voters were
registered by the First for Congress campaign,
plus two Democrats who switched to Republican.

The Palmyra Sportsmen's
Association held a Friends of the NRA banquet in Grantville on May 2nd, and candidate Josh First was there. Said First, "The National Rifle Association protects the rights of all law-abiding Americans, whether they choose to own firearms, or not, and I urge all firearms owners to join the NRA and support their critical efforts.  If you love your freedom, and if you cherish your right to own guns, then you really should be a member of the NRA.  Local groups, like the Palmyra Sportsmen's Association, play the important role of linking individual citizens at the local level to the national organization."
